The Profoto A10 is my personal favorite flash, an absolute marvel. Let me get started on the first part you’ll notice, and thats the battery life, with 350max power shots per battery, this flash is a monster. Indoor conditions allow for more than a thousand shots on one battery. The best part of the Profoto A10 in my personal opinion is the air remote capabilities. For those low demand shoots, instead of renting a set of B10’s, an A10 with the wireless air remote allows for more freedom.
The A10 also has access to the clic ecosystem of soft boxes, gels, and umbrellas. This ecosystem makes it easy to connect the accessories directly to the flash with just a click. The rim of the light is magnetic, enabling easy adding of whatever accessories in the ecosystem. Part of the ecosystem as well is the ability to convert the clic to a normal Bowens mount. Opening all Bowens accessories to be compatible with this small and mighty flash.
The flash also is rather powerful, with the ability to relatively overpower the sun when there are no modifiers on it. An amazing tool for the great dynamic range of whatever your shooting needs entail.
