Moving Picture recently had the pleasure of participating in the TYE Studios Canon/Broncolor event. TYE owner Donna Peplin and her staff of seasoned professionals opened their doors to local, South Florida still photography enthusiasts for an informative day of equipment demonstrations and artistic discussion.
With a full range of grip and lighting equipment available for rental, Moving Picture was there to demonstrate our broad selection of continuous lighting. To provide hands-on experience with our gear, we constructed a full studio lighting setup for event-goers. This lighting arrangement consisted of two Kino Flo Diva Lite 400 kits, an ARRI 150w Fresnel, a Litepanels 1×1 LED, a California Sunbounce, and a few C-stands and sandbags. The full dimmer controls of the Kino Flo lights and Litepanels LED make this setup extremely versatile and unintimidating to jump into. This photographer’s lighting package was also assembled with portability in mind – the entire setup will break down in ten minutes and fit into your average sedan.
