Originally founded in 1987, Moving Picture entered the business providing location sound equipment, engineers, video assist, and walkie talkie rentals for feature films, TV commercials and music videos.

In 1991, MPR expanded into broadcast video rentals of camera, VTR’s and Avid Non Linear Edit systems.
In April 2010, MPR expanded into the world of digital cinema rental and cinema lighting, becoming the only camera rental house in Florida that also offers grip & lighting rental under the same roof.

In 2014, MPR added production supply rental and still photography rental to its list of comprehensive services.
In 2016, MPR added production services to its offerings. Providing brands, advertising agencies, and production companies a turn-key solution for outsourcing their production needs.a
